감상자에게 현대미술과 개념미술에 대한 시각적 지평을 넓히고자 한다. 이를 위해 4월의 담쟁이덩굴과 도심 뒷골목을 걷는 여성의 흑백 이미지를 통해, 시간의 흐름 속에서 자연과 인간의 관계를 성찰했다. 사진, 손글씨, 드로잉, 디자인 등 디지털 매체를 활용하여 전통과 현대를 융합하고, 현대 개념미술의 메시지와 시각 언어의 확장을 담아냈다. 시각적인 처리와 함께 감상자들이 대하는 이미지 이상의 경험, 이를테면 감정적 인식 혹은 철학적 반응은 현대미술과 개념미술에 매우 의미있는 것이기 때문이다. I attempted an intriguing approach to broaden the visual horizon of viewers regarding contemporary and conceptual art. Through the black-and-white image of ivy in April and a woman walking through the back alleys of the city, I provided a "visual metaphor" that reflects on the relationship between "time and space, humanity and nature." By utilizing digital media, I fused tradition with modernity and expanded the message of conceptual art.
In particular, the multi-layered process involving photography, handwriting, drawing, and design is expected to lead viewers beyond a simple image experience. The emotional perception or philosophical response that viewers engage with through visual treatment is, in fact, a fundamental first step in understanding contemporary and conceptual art.
