뉴스부산=부산시는 7월부터 만 13~18세를 대상으로 월 2만5천 원 이상 이용 시, 월 5만 원까지 초과 사용액(최대 2만5천 원)을 동백전으로 환급해 주는 '청소년 동백패스'를 도입·시행한다고 26일 밝혔다.

앞서 부산시는 지난해 8월 동백패스 시행과 10월 어린이 대중교통 요금 무료화로, 현재 만 19세 이상 성인과 만 12세 이하 어린이는 대중교통요금 환급 및 면제 혜택을 받고 있다.

현재 전국 최초로 시행하고 있는 대중교통 통합할인제 ‘동백패스’는 만 19세 이상 성인을 대상으로 부산에 등록된 시내버스와 마을버스, 도시철도, 경전철, 동해선을 월 4만 5천 원 이상 이용하면 월 9만 원까지 초과 사용액(최대 4만 5천 원)을 동백전으로 환급해 주고 있다.

'청소년 동백패스'는 동백전 선불교통카드를 발급받고, 동백패스 가입 및 청소년 등록 후 교통 요금을 충전해 이용할 수 있다. 편의점이나 도시철도역, 교통카드 충전 앱(이즐충전소)에서 교통요금 충전을 하면 된다.

동백전 선불교통카드는 동백전 앱을 통해 신청하거나(배송 3∼7일 소요), 부산은행 영업점을 방문해 발급받을 수 있다. 다만 만 13세 청소년은 본인 단독으로 카드 신청 및 발급이 불가하며, 친권자나 법정대리인이 신청서류를 지참하고 부산은행 영업점을 방문해야 발급받을 수 있다.

동백전 선불교통카드 발급 이후 동백패스 가입은 필수사항으로, 만 13세는 부산은행 영업점, 만 14세 이상은 동백전 앱에서 가입할 수 있다. 본인의 생년월일 등록(청소년 등록)은 편의점을 방문하거나 교통카드 충전앱인 ‘이즐충전소’에서 가능하다.

청소년 본인의 생년월일을 등록하지 않을 경우, 성인 요금을 지불하게 될 뿐만 아니라 청소년 동백패스 환급 적용도 받을 수 없으므로 유의해야 한다.

이번 '청소년 동백패스' 도입으로, 청소년 15만 5천여 명이 대중교통 요금 환급 혜택을 받게 되면서 모든 연령대의 부산시민이 대중교통 요금 경감 혜택을 누릴 수 있게 됐다.

Those aged 13 or older can sign up at a Busan Bank branch, and those aged 14 or older can sign up at the Dongbaekjeon app. You can register your date of birth (youth registration) by visiting a convenience store or using ‘Easle Charging Station’, a transportation card recharge app.

Please note that if you do not register your date of birth, you will not only have to pay the adult fare, but you will also not be eligible for a youth Dongbaek Pass refund.
